Ansley spent the first 20 years of adulthood traveling, exploring and experiencing the world. She is now living in her native home of San Diego. "In my works in oils on canvas, I explore the sometimes mundane world of nature, seeing the ordinary as extraordinary. Outwardly, I am inspired by the shapes and colors in nature, and especially the imperfections regarded less than. It is the flower with the torn petal, leaves with a bit of decay, apples with spots...I am fascinated by things that aren't quite perfect, I seek to find the beauty in that imperfection. It is in some way it is a reflection of what I have seen and experienced in my life. Through the process of my art I have come to terms with my own imperfections and the inner fears we all have, yet are often reluctant to share. Inside, my emotions inspire me to paint, and I find symbols in the natural shapes, and hidden meanings in the composition. I am almost always trying covertly to communicate what I feel.

A Croatian-born artist and architect, Miro Sinovcic graduated from Zagreb Art Academy. As an artist, an art director and an architect, he has received numerous international awards, including "The Best of Show" from the Rizzoli in Milan, Italy. He is also the two-time recipient of the most prestigious Croatian art award and the Bronze Medal winner at the world's biggest book fair, in Frankfurt, Germany. In 1985 he emigrated to the United States, where he became one of the most-sought after artists in publishing, advertising and motion pictures. His art has appeared on more than a thousand book covers, and his innovative techniques helped transform the traditional look of book illustrations into more modern treatments of color and atmosphere. As a fine artist, Miro believes that art, at its best, is seeing life in new and exciting ways, not as rote formula. His paintings are bursting with life, energy, color and constant change. "Just a wonderful mess and a beautiful noise", as he puts it.

Peter Welton first encountered art at Leeds Teacher Training College when he was advised to transfer to the Art department from Mathematics where he had failed to appreciate the subtleties of that sublime discipline. He subsequently went on to read Fine Art at Durham University studying under such luminaries as Victor Pasmore, Lawrence Gowing, Richard Hamilton and Quentin Bell. On graduating he worked for a short time as a designer in Repertory theatres before going into teaching on a temporary basis - which lasted thirty years - before he was able to become a full time watercolour painter in 1990. He has since received many prestigious commissions including a watercolour landscape for HM the Queen in 1992 and a painting of Kimbolton School for HRH the Duke of Gloucester in 1999. In 2001 he completed a commission for the Maharane of Udaipur after visiting India.

I am a contemporary landscape artist and specialize in rural American landscape paintings. I paint what I see around me on a quiet midwestern farmstead. I love painting the heartland and most often works in acrylic paint for my peaceful landscapes. I often paint scenes of old historical Americana, views of old barns, farms, houses, cabins, hazy days & big blue skies. I have been working on a series of paintings that show my unique impression, of these calm and quiet landscapes of the United States. As I progress as a painter, I have become increasingly interested in the mood and feeling that my paintings give.

From the page: "Kendra Page is an oil painter living in Southern California. Her favorite subject is a wide-open vista of the Western landscape, in any season. She also enjoys painting animals within a landscape. From the foothills of Southern California's mountains to National Parks throughout the West, she finds endless inspiration in Nature. Her passion is the land, how its appearance changes with the hours and the seasons; her challenge is to convey her views and feelings on a two-dimensional surface."

Dott . Gabriella Niero - critico d'arte.

Karen loves to paint on location, en plein air, whenever she can. These outdoor painting experiences help give life to her studio work. She likes to finish a painting in one sitting so that she can capture that flash of inspiration which attracted her to the subject. Pastels, with their vibrant, immediate color suit her style perfectly!

Ola Rosling shows the traditional art, oil painting, but with personnel image. His work with the light is masterly. He can get it to burst like a whirl cyclone on open sea or like stars from a dissolved galaxy. But he can also let it be the only that happens in a picture, an enchanting activity embedded in deep mystery. Against the enigmatic, more or less abstract he places the descriptive...
