Un sole ferragostano infuoca un'immensa campagna dorata con i casolari che delimitano l'orizzonte, mentre una luce lunare illumina un tranquillo specchio di mare dove galleggiano primitive barche a vela. Ross Alexander Young was born in Perth, Scotland in 1971. He studied to become an aeronautical / mechanical engineer, and commenced his profession with the Ministry of Defence as an aircraft engineer. Travelling and exploring the planet became a favourite pastime, and his travels took him to every corner of the globe, including : USA, Thailand, Australia, Morocco and Denmark. During these adventures many paintings and souvenirs were gathered, and these are now used to influence his style of work. There are so many bright, and unforgettable colours around the world - the intense green mountains of Peru, and the golden sands of Dubai are part of Ross's spectrum...

Joyce Samuel's love for painting began at an early age. She won a scholarship to Chicago Art Institute in elementary school. She has worked with all types of media throughout her life, but watercolor has become her passion. In 1970 she moved to California and studied under Joe Garcia, Susan Clark, and Cloyd Bedke while managing her own business, a florist, antique and art emporium.
